Helping Ukraine
Since the beginning of the war, Prof. Gress has regularly traveled to Ukraine to operate on seriously injured soldiers there or to bring them to Germany. Together with his wife Iryna, who is Ukrainian, he collects donations to buy urgently needed medical equipment, instruments, medicines etc. and travels there himself. His wife takes care of the Ukrainian soldiers in Germany.
Despite repeated requests and pleas for support, any help from the German government or the Bavarian state government has been kindly refused.
However, if you would like to support this commitment in any way, we would be very pleased! You can be sure that anything you are willing to give will be personally delivered by Prof. Gress and his wife to where it is most needed.
