Wrinkles are the marks of time that life leaves on the face.
WThe extent to which wrinkles become prominent in the skin depends on a number of factors:
UV radiation, environmental influences, diet, facial expressions, structural quality of tissue, sleep, etc.

Wrinkles are significantly reduced or eliminated altogether. The skin looks younger, firmer and healthier. The following factors help determine the success of a wrinkle treatment at our clinic in Munich:

– Wrinkle depth
– Wrinkle location (forehead, mouth…)
– Constitution of the skin
– Age
– Lifestyle
– Skin care
– Treatment used

Forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet

are best treated with Botox. Botox is a natural toxin produced by bacteria (botulinum toxin A) that inhibits the transmission of stimuli from the nerve to the muscle for a certain period of time. The effect starts after four days; maximum effect is reached after 14 days. The effect lasts between four and six months. Botox is also used to treat excessive sweating, especially in the armpits.

Wrinkles on upper and lower lips, nasolabial folds

Botox is less suitable here. It is best to treat these wrinkles with a hyaluronic acid injection. Larger wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, cheek wrinkles and marionette lines can also be padded and smoothed with your own fatty tissue. Lip wrinkles can also be smoothed down or removed by laser.

Hyaluronic acid dissolves after approx. six months; your own fat can last a lifetime.

Lipofilling (lipostructure):
Depending on the treated area, the transferred fat is integrated into the tissue so that between 100% and 50% of the effect will be permanent, i.e. will last for life. This can be reliably assessed after half a year. If necessary, another injection can then be done.

Botulinum toxin A (Bo.Tox.):
Minor swelling and bruising are to be expected at the injection site. Allergic reactions, fatigue and functional impairments are rare. Side effects are always temporary (no longer than 6 months).
